However, let's take a look at the entire context. People usually automatically conclude that evening is therefore the beginning of the day since evening is mentioned first in each day. And the evening and the morning were the second day. ![]() And the evening and the morning were the first day. This is what I have always been taught by Sabbath keeping Pastors. Let's take a look at the scriptures people use to say it is from sunset to sunset or evening. What is the Truth? How do we know? What does the Holy Scriptures say? If you ask a 7th Day Sabbath Keeper or someone who keeps the Holy Days of The Almighty Creator, they would most likely respond "at sunset", "from evening to evening", "from sunset to sunset". ![]() If you ask the average person when the day begins, they would respond "at midnight" or they might respond "in the morning" or "at daybreak" or "at dawn".
